Everbright Concern Action

Everbright Concern Action》 established in 2002, it is a non-profit charitable organization registered in Hong Kong. The founding purpose is to take serving the community as its own responsibility and pay attention to the overlooked groups. Through activity plans, appropriate services are provided for the disadvantaged groups in need, with the aim of building a caring and mutually supportive community.

"Old Friends Smartphone Class" During the pandemic, we encountered cases where the elderly lacked the basic knowledge of operating smartphones, making it difficult to receive pandemic information. Recently, we organized a smartphone course to help the elderly stay connected to society through smartphone application training.

Bread is a Heavy Burden A single mother came to the store to apply for a "bread card." She wrote on the application form: "All three of my children like to eat bread, but it costs more than 20 dollars a day, which is a heavy burden for a jobless family." She is in the process of divorcing her husband, and their three children are aged between three and nine. Every word is a cry from the bottom of her heart, echoing the feelings of many disadvantaged communities.

Bread Delivers Care Along the way, we've encountered many kind-hearted people. Today, at the third "Charity Bread Day" held by the Ginkgo Pavilion Xiangyi Bakery in Hung Hom, 1,000 "caring bread" were made and distributed to more than 500 beneficiaries from disadvantaged communities.
